Shayla joined Birchgrove Legal as a Law Clerk in February 2023, and serves as a valuable asset to the criminal team, providing assistance in a broad spectrum of criminal cases, ranging from minor traffic violations to complex assault charges.

Shayla has taken on a diverse array of responsibilities, including conducting legal research, preparing correspondence and legal documents, and fostering client relationships. Her outstanding track record demonstrates her willingness, focused dedication, unwavering tenacity, and a perpetual, radiant smile in approaching tasks.

Before becoming a part of the Birchgrove Legal team, Shayla worked as a private English tutor, providing support to young students.

Currently, she is in her second year of pursuing a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of International Studies at Western Sydney University.

Beyond her professional commitments, Shayla finds solace in reading classical literature, avidly following the Australian cricket team, and wholeheartedly supporting the Western Bulldogs in the AFL.
