Joining Birchgrove Legal in January 2023, Mahmoud is a valued member of the Corporate-Commercial team.

Mahmoud is involved in assisting with, amongst other things, preparing complex contractual instruments, preparing corporate governance and other transactional documents, conducting public register searches and inquiries, carrying out legal research, and preparing client correspondence.

Coming from a background in the construction industry, Mahmoud usefully arms the firm with a unique and relevant set of experiences, skills, perspectives and insights.

Mahmoud currently pursues a dual bachelor’s degree in law and commerce, majoring in accounting, at Macquarie University. Recognised for his academic excellence, Mahmoud was awarded the Reuben F. Scarf Award in 2020.

On weekends, Mahmoud finds solace by the water fishing, spending his downtime away from the bustle of city life. Also as a passionate sports enthusiast, Mahmoud supports Real Madrid in soccer, the Penrith Panthers in rugby league and enjoys watching Formula 1. Mahmoud likes gaming, particularly FIFA, where he is guaranteed to give all competitors a good run for their money.
