Hamza is a co-founder and Principal Solicitor of Birchgrove Legal and oversees the firm’s commercial and litigation practices. Hamza believes that law firms need to specialise in specific areas to ensure quality service and up to date skills. With over 10 years practising in the legal sector, Hamza advises on commercial and property transactions, disputes and issues facing the Not-for-profit sector.

Hamza’s experience in the commercial and dispute resolution space spans a broad range of jurisdictions and industries. He acts for both public and private clients including medium to large Australian and international businesses and Not-for-profit organisations.

Hamza has advised charities and not-for-profits across a range of sectors, on matters ranging from corporate structuring, governance, responsible person/officeholder duties, tax exemptions, contractual arrangements, disputes and regulatory reviews.

Hamza holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Laws from the University of New South Wales. Hamza is a member of Law Society of New South Wales and a member of the Charity Law Association of Australia and New Zealand.

Hamza is passionate about giving back to the community and supporting those in need. He provides pro-bono legal advice to a number of community organisations and initiatives and serves as a board member of an aged care charity.
