Madeline joins Birchgrove bringing with her a strong background in corporate and commercial law, with experience spanning M&A, governance, regulatory compliance, and commercial advisory. She works closely with the Commercial team across a broad range of matters, from contract drafting and negotiation to M&A transactions, due diligence, and client advisory.

Madeline has experience advising businesses of all sizes but has a particular fondness for working with small to medium enterprises and entrepreneurs.

Prior to joining Birchgrove Legal, Madeline worked as a corporate lawyer in private practice at both national and boutique firms.

Her corporate experience involves providing end-to-end legal support on high-value transactions, including multi-million-dollar mergers and acquisitions. She also has extensive experience drafting and negotiating shareholder agreements, asset and share sale agreements, and ancillary completion documentation.

Madeline has advised clients across a diverse range of industries – including technology, real estate, mining, retail, and hospitality – offering commercially focused advice that supports both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic goals.

Madeline has a strong interest in fostering client relationships and ensuring clients are provided with clear, practical advice. She takes a solutions-focused approach and is valued for her clarity, responsiveness, and commercial awareness.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of South Australia and completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law.

Outside of the office, Madeline enjoys baking, film, and spending time outdoors.
