Our client Mohamed Kamer Nizamdeen, was detained by police for allegedly authoring plans to carry out terrorist acts against high profile personalities, including the Prime Minister at the time, Malcolm Turnbull. Kamer was charged with a terror offence and placed in solitary confinement at Goulburn Supermax Prison. Using media, political and legal strategies, we were able to highlight significant flaws very early on in the prosecution’s case. After 10 days, police dropped all charges against our client.
